Da Bee is Da FUN, Part. 2!

When my husband, Dave and I started this blog, 2-1/2 years ago, we had just put photos of their toys, enrichments, and accessories on our blog, and the first toy is called: Go Cat Da Bee Teaser Wand with two bee attachments, just on our blog, not Instagram. Several months to a year, though we started thinking, let’s have or get more likes, or comments, on Instagram. So one of our many faves that both cats love, it is: Go Cat Da Bee, and it came with a shorter wand with a bee to attach to, and two extra bees to put on the wand, when you needed them. They were expensive at almost twenty eight dollars, but they both went crazy with this toy. We have had the Da Bee wand for four years, and these two bees sadly got torn in pieces from our cats. So I bought some new Go Cat Da Bees, and when I took this product out of its package, the cats got really excited. I took that Da Bee and just started taking it and flying it over their heads. I would go fly it all over the house, and on the floor, and try to have them jump in the air, and try to grab, paw and bite at it. Sometimes these bees didn’t last long, and than I would need to keep getting more. We had this for four years, and over time they were on Instagram. Thanks to our friend, Paula she told her friends about our blog. The best way to get more people to go to Instagram, and comment, follow, or like your post, you need to boost to get your audience. It can come at say a costs, say from some dollars, to thirty dollars, and more. I did some word of mouth from friends and other businesses, but boosting it is a better way to find your audience. As of now, we have hundreds of followers, with hundreds of posts, and I’ve followed about six people or businesses.

So over time, I would just buy more Da Bee attachments, but I wanted longer wands of say, fifteen feet, to thirty-five feet, or so, so I could have the bees fly around farther and longer, and go different ways in our house. I even had it go up on our chairs, cat tree, and more. It was great, to have the extra bees, in case Go Cat Da Bees, didn’t last. So over the months, and more we buy again more refills of the Da Bees, but we had bought over time, these longer wands, and we have about twelve of them. All I do is attach Da Bee to it, and we are ready to start buzzing around the house to see, who’s up for catching these bees. They both love it, our cats, and it is a toy, we’ve had for several years. Now we have had over time, more video’s and photos to put on the blog and now Instagram. The bees look so real, but bigger, and they like that fluttering, sound the toy makes, over their heads and all around them. They had a nice and bright black and yellow color for bees, but just know are cats are hard on toys, and like to chew, and have long nails to grab at these toys. So you might need to get more Go Cat Da Bee Attachments, to hook on, but we have been playing with this for years, and years, and so will your cat(s). Have a a great and buzzing time.

Got Hair?

This Black+Decker Cat Hair Removal Roller, was soooo nice when it came, to clean up our cats fur. With our two cats, Kai and Pukini there is fur all over the place. It’s on the blankets, bedding, chairs, pads of chairs, cat tree, furniture and more. We noticed it was Black+Decker brand on it, and we thought this will be a nice product. This is the first time we got it out of the cat cave closet of a nice and needed accessory to use. Besides toys, we like to also feature enrichments, and accessories, and this is a necessary accessory to have. Pukini has lots more fur, and Kai not quite as much, and so after several years, we decided to buy this cat hair removal roller by Black and Decker. Black and Decker is a great brand and has been around for a long time, and let’s get some use from this roller accessory.

First thing was, we tried this Black+Decker Cat Hair Removal Roller, on the first place of many that would have a lot of Kai and Pukini’s hair, on the lazy boy chair. We rolled it and rolled it, and we turned it over and there was a lot of cat fur, and it did work. Next I will try the couch, their blankets, and more. When I tried it, I rolled it wrong, and we got nothing, but when my husband Dave, tried it, it worked great. Dave just used short, rapid push-pull motions.  After rolling it and rolling it, and than he flipped it over, and in the this front part of the window, this translucent part, according to online, shows you when it’s time to empty it. It got pretty full, pretty fast. You press this latch, and it secures it in place, and it’s simple to open with a press of the button it says online. We definitely liked this hair remover for our cats, Kai and Pukini, and we liked that it picked up the hair pretty easy, the only part was in the seams of the chair it had a harder time getting it there. Also, we liked it’s nice and sturdy, and a nice handle for gripping and more.

If you looking for say an accessory for your cat, and or dog, look no further than the Black and Decker Pet Hair Removal Roller, and look it could be a nice stocking stuffer, or present for Christmas for your cat, and or dog. Give it a try to finally removing the fur off of the furniture, blankets, chairs, sofa and more. It’s a good deal of almost sixteen dollars and the dimensions online are: 9.3”L x2”W x10.88”H. Give it a try it’s a furrtastic accessory to try.

Pop up and Play!

Look out Kai and Pukini, the fun has begun with the: Whisker City Pop-Open Play Tunnel. As soon as the boys took a sniff to it, it was time to see how our cats would react to this new toy. As soon as this tunnel toy was ready, so was Pukini, and Kai who sniffed at it, and started checking it out. To get them to promote this toy, I threw some Tasty Sensation chicken treats inside the tunnel, and Kai went over and stuck his head in the center opening of the tunnel, and ate some of his treats up. Kai doesn’t really like to go inside tunnels, because maybe he’s afraid he will get stuck, and not be able to get out? Pukini on the other hand, as soon as the tunnel was ready, he loves tunnels, and he’s played with all of them, and checked them out. This was another shorter gray colored length tunnel, like our lime green one, and when I have a wand toy to play with, I try to lure him in the Whisker City Pop-Open Play Tunnel, by getting him to go inside. I give both some treats, so I can get a good photo or two, or good videos. Pukini likes to just go in and chill, rest and relax as well.

Next, we play with these toys different ways with our cats, and we have connected all of the tunnels together, so he can explore and go in one tunnel, to another tunnel and out the other end, or the igloo toy is at the end, so he can just rest in the igloo toy, or the Hocus Pocus tunnel. Also, I have a few photos or more of Pukini, just playing, resting, and more inside this Whisker City Pop-Open Play Tunnel all by itself. It’s cute with just him and nobody else inside the tunnel, and you know where he is, unlike when there is many tunnels connected up, with several entrances and more it’s hard to find him. He loves it, and enjoys this toy, and it’s a keeper. If he wants to get away, or hide from Kai, he knows where to go, exploring the other tunnels, or plaid tunnel bed, and this new tunnel.

Finally, what I like is, Whisker City Pop-Open Play Tunnel, pops up, and flattens down, if you want to take your cats, and this toy on vacations, day trips, or to visit family. It has a hanging tassel toy for some toy exploring fun. Instead of using the velcro straps, I just take one end of the tunnels, and connect the tunnels to the ends of the other tunnels. The dimensions online are: 10 in DIA x 25.5 in L (25.4 x 64.8 cm). It has one opening at each entrance, and a middle open area to go in and get out of the tunnel. Give this Whisker City Pop-Open Play Tunnel, a chance, and who knows of your cats if all will like it, a few or one of them, might like it. Good for exercise, mental stimulation, and hunting skills, and it’s only fifteen dollars, and we got it from PetSmart. Enjoy some pop-up and play fun!

Bubble Blaster!!!

What have I always loved to play with, when I was a kid to now an adult: BUBBLES, and more bubbles. I love to play with bubbles, and more bubbles, but what is better is when you have cats, to try to pop a few if you’re lucky. So my husband, saw this toy at Walmart advertised online and it is called: Play Day Bubble Blaster, and it is close to ten dollars. To me this is a fun toy, for our cats, it’s something so different, like is it a toy to them, or enrichment, or both? Is the treats the enrichment, so hopefully you play with the Bubble Blaster, and Kai will and he did eat the snacks, but took a sniff, or stared at the bubbles as they popped before he could get to them. In photos, Kai isn’t interested as much, where as Pukini in photos for this week and a video, is mesmerized, and wants to pop a few. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do to be honest. That’s the fun part, is trying to have them figure out, how, and what are they supposed to do with that certain toy, enrichment, or accessories that are needed for your cat.

First up, my husband Dave, went into the garage to find his handy dandy screwdriver, so we could open up the compartment, to put these three batteries into. Once the three AA batteries were inside, we were ready to go try this Play Day Bubble Blaster toy. I let Pukini and Kai check it out, giving it a sniff, and now it’s time for some Bubbles and Bubbles of fun. Just as a reminder, these batteries did not come with the Play Day Bubble Blaster toy. What is nice is, it came with a bottle of bubble solution, that you could screw in at the bottom, and according to online:"magazine" for the blaster. The toy made this whirling sound when the bubbles come out of the bubble blaster toy. Just pull down and hold: Lots and lots of bubbles, and here they came.It was funny to watch Pukini mostly taking his paw and pop the bubbles. He’s mesmerized in one photos, or in videos next week, Pukini is trying to pop the bubbles with his paw. You just press down, and pull down and hold onto the trigger. Since we have indoor cats, we tried playing with it inside, but if your cats) are outdoors, than you might give it a try there, or in your backyard. Not only did Pukini try to pop them, he stared at them, or got overwhelmed when there were so many coming right at him. Kai wasn’t quite as interested, and just watched them come out of the Play Day Bubble Blaster, as they went near him, but we still had a fun time. I had put some cat treats down for Kai and than I took the Play Day Bubble Blaster, and he’s checking the bubbles out, but the treats first, and he said, me love treats.

We played with these bubbles all over, on our tiled, carpet, and hallway, floors, and more. I just aim the Play Day Bubble Blaster in any direction, up in the air, and down low. Too bad they were not scented with catnip, ha ha! When I read the reviews, I didn’t see that anybody had cats to try this bubble blaster toy with. But give it a try if you do have cat(s), or maybe dogs as well would love this. We loved the nice and bright colors of the toy, and it was easy to use. It was easy to grip as well. What can I say, if your a big kid like me, who’s always looking for some fun toys with your male cats, check this bubble blaster, and be sure to have a bubble blasting fun time.

Whirly Butterfly and Feather Cat Toy!

This next toy is called, Whisker City-2-1 Electronic Mounted Cat Teaser Toy, and it was a different and unique toy, from PetSmart. It was so different, because you could put it on say, the edge of our book shelf ledge, or our cat tree ledge, using this plastic vice operation. First up, it didn’t come with two AA batteries, and so go get a screwdriver to open up where the batteries need to go. Next according to online, line up the wand prong into the base slot. Push into place until a click is heard. Than when ready, press he button at the top of the base, and than you will see it twirl, and whirl and spin, and it goes pretty fast.

Now we were hoping for some fun play. On day one, when I put it on the bookshelf ledge, Kai and Pukini, came over and batted at the Whisker City-2-1 Electronic Mounted Cat Teaser Toy, and the blue colored feathers and loved the blue butterfly. It reminded me of a yoyo, going up and down. They only played about a minute, but they were excited to come over and check out this new toy, You will see the video the next week, and can’t wait for you to see it. This week you will see photos, of Pukini just up on the cat tree, looking at it, but not playing with it. The next photo, is no cat, and the Whisker City-2-1 Electronic Mounted Cat Teaser Toy just dangling by itself. So after we played the video, the boys weren’t interested in this toy anymore, and sadly it is a dud of a toy. I am going to take the batteries out, with a screwdriver, and have noticed that it has slowed down. Finally, it looks bent, and it was suggested online that you straighten the wand before continuing play for optimal rotation movement. Maybe we will play with it again, and put new batteries in again when ready. Finally, on the first time we played, they felt like they were like a hunter batting at the feather toys, and butterfly, and more. Just because our cat(s) didn’t like it all that much, than give it a try and your cat(s) might like this toy. Enjoy.

Lookout!! WHACKAMOUSE!

Whisker City Whackamouse Corrugate Scratcher Cat Toy, or I like to call it, Lookout!! WHACKAMOUSE! This is our next toy to feature. After taking this cardboard off of the toy, it was time for some play. It is a cute idea, but unfortunately our cats, Kai and Pukini didn’t use it for its intended usage. I thought, it has these mice like on these pop up sticks, and some corrugated cardboard material for scratching. So every time I would bring this Whackamouse toy out, I would press the mouse stick levers down to have several of the mice come up. I would do this over and over, and than I would take the cats paws, and try to have them press down, on these mouse pop up stick levers, but they weren’t interested, or knew what to do. Plus my husband, Dave would try the same thing, and press these mouse pop up sticks to show, Kai and Pukini what to do. Even the corrugated cardboard was promising, for the cats to try, but all Pukini wanted to do, was sit on top of it. I thought oh well, we tried, even myself, and I tried to use my fingernails to scratch at the corrugated cardboard, to see if they would do it as well. Our cats didn’t even do that.

The only thing that Kai enjoyed was, when I would put these tasty chicken cat treats in these five circles, where their mice would pop up, if you pressed on the levers, of the Whisker City Whackamouse Corrugate Scratcher Cat Toy. I would even put the treats on top of the cat toy, and Kai or Pukini would try to get a treat. Like his cat amazing boxes, Kai would take his paws where the mice were in the circled areas, and take his paw and grab that treat out. Not the way this Whackamouse Corrugate Scratcher Cat Toy was intended for, and this toy was a dud. I really wished they would have played with it more, but they liked to sniff at the mice as well. I thought with the treats in the circles, that they would at least try to grab for a treat, and Kai got a few out, but that was it.

Now like I say, just because our cats didn’t play with it, doesn’t mean your cat(s) won’t get some enjoyment from it. Even if they scratch at the cardboard, or grab at a treat it’s something, but maybe your cat(s) will have that killer mouse instinct.

Spring Swatter!!

Do our cats, Kai and Pukini love new toys, and so I got one toy out recently. This toy is called, Whisker City Spring Swatter Chirping Cat Toy with Catnip. As soon as I got this toy out of the paper bag, I needed help to have my husband, cut the plastic part off of the toy. As soon as Dave cut the plastic part off, our cats, Kai and Pukini were so excited with big eyes looking at it, and even Pukini got up in the reclining chair to take a look, and Kai was over near Dave on the floor, looking at the toy. As soon as he cut the plastic zip ties, it had this red like spiral toy, and a weighted circular base, with a ball and a feather on top of the bird toy for batting at. So the toy, than went BOING, and popped up, and I puled the tab on the side of the ball, to have the bird make these loud bird chirp sounds.

Unfortunately, Kai and Pukini didn’t bat the ball, or the feathers. I accidentally, picked up the base of it, and it freaked out Kai, and he hid under our table in the living room. So it was basically a dud of a toy for our boys, and like I always say, just because it didn’t work out for our cats, doesn’t mean your cat(s) won’t like it. I liked the spring action, but to get them interested, I had put catnip on the base and they sniffed at that, and than I put some cat treats in the middle of it. I would have the spring coiled part of the toy sway, or spring back and forth, and than their heads, or neck almost got stuck, after getting the catnip and treats. That concerned me a lot, because I didn’t want them to freak out, get hurt and run away. Thankfully that didn’t happen. I thought with the feathers, and ball like toy, they would be interested, but no they weren’t.

I am not sure what the spiral part is made out of, but I wished it would have been a toy, that didn’t get their head or neck almost stuck in the coiled spiral part. We think it’s made out of a steel like spiral part of the toy, and just needed something more stiff, but as a safer product. I liked the ball, and the colorful feathers, but that was it.

Its A Bird, It’s A Plane, It’s Flappy Bird!!

I had forgotten that I had this Potaroma Sparrow Flapping Bird, on my cat wish list, and an acquaintance Paula told me about it. So I couldn’t wait to order it. Dave got the Flappy Bird out of its box and both cats, Kai and Pukini played with it briefly. This flapping bird toy is so cute, and realistic looking, and we loved the colors and the flapping of the wings. We than thought let’s charge it, and we did! The nice thing is, there is no batteries required, and this toy received, 4.5 out of 5 stars, and lots of comments. I took a close up photo of the flappy bird, so you could see it up close. What I really liked was in this pouch area, it has catnip inside it, and our cats love cat nip. After charging the bird, we waited for the boys to sniff, bat, snuggle, paw, bite, hunt, wrestle with it, and more. The cat(s)were excited to play with it, and what great exercise, and what cat(s) don’t love new toys. There is this mechanism, where the velcro is in back of the bird, there is an off and on switch to turn the bird on, and it has this battery and this motor, to have the Flappy Bird move his body and flap his wings. As soon as I turned it on, I put it on the tile, or carpeted or area rug floors, and it started flapping its wings. It has a pretty loud chirping sound to it, and say you stop playing with it, it stays quiet, and doesn’t move, until played with again.

Also, this Flappy Bird, didn’t come with a wand, so you can hook it on the back of the birds head, and if you need a wand to hook it on the bird, get any kind from amazon, or any place that sells toy wands to put cat toys on. I had played with Flappy Bird, two ways: Don’t hook the bird to a wand, and don’t turn it on. Our cats got really excited and wanted to play and grab it, and more, or you can do this, put wand and hook it on the bird, and than turn on it’s motor where the velcro part is, turn there is a on and off switch, and just watch it chirp and chirp, and flutter it’s wings. As soon as I did this the cats, played and played, sniffed, hunted, jumped, pounced and more. Speaking of using a wand on Flappy Bird, well I had a nervous incident with Kai, the bird was on the wand, and I am swinging and swinging it, above his head, and than would drop it loudly, thumping it on the floor. Well that made Kai run under our coffee table in the living room, and he was to nervous to play with it, and stayed under the table for a few minutes. He still wants to play with it, but I just need to be a little careful how I have it thump on the ground, and realistically, this was a big, heavy bird to Kai, and he ran for cover.

Just a few things to add: This Flappy Bird, is perfect and fun for our blog, but for cat(s) Birthdays, and Christmas and more Next it keeps your cat(s) busy, and to be on the their toes, and has a loud realistic chirp to it, to get you to want to bat, bite, chew, and chase! Last this bird, is nice and soft, to play, and cuddle with, and it’s a good deal for close to seventeen dollars. When you want a realistic looking bird toy for your cat(s) to play with, look no further than: Potaroma Sparrow Flapping Bird. Chirp Chirp!

Pukini and Kai’s Kitten Memories-Part 2!

Welcome to Kitten Memories- Part 2! By the way, we weren’t sure about getting male kittens, because of male kittens/cats spraying their urine on furniture and more, but we got them anyway. We had a few bathroom incidences with both Kai and Pukini, but eventually they got used to our house. We’ve had no problem with their spraying of urine since we adopted them. Our kittens, Kai and Pukini were eight-nine weeks old when we adopted them. When we brought Pukini and Kai home, and took them out of their box, they ran to the guest bedroom under the bed for fifteen minutes approximately, but they were not there long. I was in our bedroom, and I looked over and our tiny little kittens, Kai and Pukini, were trying to crawl their way up to me on our bed. Here they were, up with me on the bed, and they were settling down and had a nap. Eventually, Kai and Pukini followed us pretty much everywhere we went in our house, and they went from room to room, in the days, weeks, and months ahead, to get to know one another.

They will rest or sleep anywhere it’s comfy to them, office chairs, the back of chairs, office chairs and more. They also both love the sun, anytime there is sun on the carpet, that’s Kai’s favorite spot to lay, on the office carpet floor. Pukini loves the sun as well, but both have to be careful if it’s to hot of sun for Kai, who has black fur and Pukini is a lighter color of fur, and his inner ears are pink, inside so don’t want his cute ears getting sunburned. Pukini loves lying up on my scanner in the office, and sometimes you hear his ears thump against the window, or when he does close to a nose dive. Awe he says, warm sun, and when there is sun in the living room, he comes on back of the sofa and get’s everything he could want: Sun, sleep, and a window that’s open to breathe in the fresh air. They both love all of the windows open, especially in the family room. Kai loves it as well, but he knows Pukini loves it more, because when those windows are open and the bushes are swaying, and air wafts in. Pukini feels like he’s outside and enjoying life, especially in the family room’s window standing or sitting on the ottoman.

They both have had some nice toys to play with, from our deceased cats, Skitch and Pumpkin, and we have had so much fun playing with them. You get to know their likes of toys, foods and so much more. As far as toys, Pukini’s faves are snake like looking toys on a wand, some ball toys, or anything on a wand. He loves tunnel enrichment toys as well. Kai will play with pretty much anything, but he likes, balls, mousey toys, and other wand like toys. As far as food, they had their kitten food, some dry chicken cat treats and more. Pukini can be a nervous and anxious cat especially, with vacuums, and kai hates it and Pukini when the door cam rings, and than both cats leave. Fireworks are the worst, and Pukini puts up with it, but Kai is out of here and into our bedroom closet to hide. In order to take good care of them, we brush both cats as much as we can. Finally we give them Johnny cat litter, and we and the kittens liked it at first, but later on we got a better litter that’s dust free, when we moved the litter to our bedroom. We got a ramp like Booda Dome Litter Box, and the kittens seem happier, and so are we.

Overall, and finally we love our cats, Kai and Pukini so much, and they are our family. We want to give them the best life ever with a plethora of toys, enrichments, love, food, treats and more. We love them and they are our forever pets for ever and ever in our life. Enjoy more photos on the blog and instagram and Facebook. Stay tuned for Part 3 next week of our cats, all grown up from kittens to seven years old, next week. Stay tuned.

Pukini and Kai’s Kitten Memories- Part 1!

We wanted to do something different this time, for our blog and boost our photos and more, and this is our kittens, Kai and Pukini and our memories of what happened, when we adopted them. This was Memorial Day Weekend 2017, and we went into our local animal shelter to adopt two kittens, because my husband had the kitten experience, but I never had. I couldn’t wait, and today was the day, Kai our beautiful black domestic short haired kitten chose us and was going back and forth in his cage, and wanted out. What a cutie he was and still is, and there was Bun Bun, or Pukini his new name we changed it too. Pukini had been sleeping in this same cage with Kai, and Kai was the cat salesman to let us know he wanted to be out of their cage and adopted. What was explained was, our kittens we got, Kai and Pukini were inseparable and the employees at the animal shelter, decided to put them in the same cage. Pukini is just as adorable as his kennel mate brother we call them, but we love them both and they are our forever cats.

I forgot to add, Pukini was a medium long hair cat, with orange, white, and tan colors with a fused or broken last vertebrae of his tail at the end of it. They didn’t correct it and or fix it and so, so far so good to this day. My husband and I took Kai and Pukini to our local vet for a free exam, from the animal shelter and they were ok. The employees, took our kittens we wanted to take a look at in this observation room, and long story short, we adopted these two little cuties. We couldn’t wait once we had them neutered, microchipped and more and there we were taking them home with us, our forever kittens. Also, we received their paper work and paid for the kittens, and here they were in a small box to take home, along with some kitten food, their vaccination papers, treats and more.

We hope you enjoy the photos in Part 1, and will enjoy our captions of their kitten photos as well, on the blog, and Instagram/Facebook. Stay tuned for more photos of our kittens, Kai and Pukini the following week, for Part 2! Message: Adopt don’t shop, and spay and neuter your kittens/cats, and or pets, please.

Squid Game!

What is pink, has catnip, is a kicker toy, makes crinkling sounds, has five pink tentacles and has a bell sound to it? Give up guessing? This is called, Whisker City Squid Kicker Cat Toy for cats. We thought of a title called Squid Game, because it’s a game, and it’s a squid like toy. This toy got mixed results, from Dave and I, and our cats Kai and Pukini. But one thing for sure, they loved the catnip in the toy, the ribbons at the end, and the tentacles to play with, and more. I took the squid toy off of the back of the cardboard packaging, and let both cats sniff it at first and than I wanted to put more catnip on it. I dipped it into the tub of catnip like I was trying to bread a chicken cutlet. and the cats played a bit with the toy, with rolling on their side, but that was it. The mixed result is from our cats as they attempted to play with the Whisker City Squid Kicker Cat Toy, but only grabbed at it for say seconds, or so. I loved the crinkle sound it made and got this excited and interested look on their faces. The bell sound, made a cute ring to it, but not to loud, plus I loved the tentacles feel of the toy.

When they were on the floor, they first just got excited from the catnip I sprinkled on the floor, and when Kai was on his back I couldn’t resist doing this: I took the Whisker City Squid Kicker Cat Toy, and placed it on his back like he was doing yoga, with his legs, and paws and body all stretched out. It was a photo I couldn’t resist taking, and he looked rested and relaxed. In the next photo, Kai is just chilling after sniffing up all of the catnip, of the toy on the floor. Pukini one time, just rolled on his side and sniffed and chewed at the tentacles of the toy, and kicked a bit at it with his hind legs.

Overall, give this toy a try, because your cat()s might like this toy, because you never know what is going to be so interesting of a toy, to capture their interest for that special photo or video.

Zalalova Cat Window Perch!

Zalalava Cat Window Perch was our next enrichment for the cats, and we wanted to give it a try. When it arrived at Christmas time of 2023, we were curious to see what our cats would think about it. We never had this in our house as an enrichment, and our thinking was, that Kai and Pukini love to look out all of our windows in our house. So when we got a chance we put it up with help from Dave of the Zalalova Cat Window Perch, in the family room windows, and our bedroom back screen windows as well. I just wished we would have had this window perch when our cats were younger and smaller, so that maybe they would have adjusted to it earlier in life.

First thing, this Zalalova Cat Window Perch, is better for a very small cat(s), or kitten(s), but we thought let’s give our bigger and older male cats, Kai and Pukini a chance and try to see what happens. With help from Dave, Pukini would get coaxed if there was a treat on the Zalalova Cat Window Perch, and with help from the boxes, ottoman, or Dave’s help he would go up and just stand, but no sitting down on the padding, or blanket. Pukini would look out of the window, but would get down. Kai, on the other hand sat, or stood up briefly and than got down. I don’t even think he looked out of the window, up on the cat perch, and just sniffed and sniffed at the cat perch. Overall, we were disappointed in this product, and to us it was a dud. We were really hoping it would work out, but it didn’t. Maybe in time it will work, but our cats weren’t interested, and were nervous about staying put standing or sitting down. Hopefully with more practice, and with more help from the boxes and ottoman, they will feel more comfortable and confident to jump up on the cat window perch. Now saying that, just because it didn’t work for our cats, doesn’t mean it won’t work for your kitten(s) and or cat(s), and so give it a try. Your cats might like it.

Finally, this Zalalova cat window perch came with everything we needed, a mounted cat bed, a fleece blanket, a manual, and more. Thank goodness the suction cups worked really good to adhere to your window. It did say, online that these 2024 screw on suction cups, can hold up to sixty pounds. Online it says, 20% more space, of lengthening and widening of a design. To be honest I felt like it needed to be wider and longer for our cats and more sturdy for both at one time to go up there, to enjoy a view of the street from outside. This I liked online: MACHINE WASHABLE COVER: Cat window seat mat is breathable and durable, easy to clean, and no chemical smell. Made of food grade mesh cloth, cat's body temperature won't overheat. With underneath its ultra-soft, machine-washable fleece cushion. Finally, online: The suction cup is made of high-quality PVC material and more. We had the white color blanket, but it has a variety of colors to choose from. According to online: Cat perch dimensions: 22" x 12" x 1.5" (L x W x H) and hanging dimensions: 29.5" x 21.5" (H x W) Suction Cup Diameter: 3.3" Cord Length: 23" Weight: 1.3 pounds.

Igloo!!

What an adorable toy for our cats Pukini’s and Kai’s seventh Birthday from PetMaker Pet Tent, and we got a pretty good deal, and for the color gray. We liked the color gray, because it was the color of our Hebley Cat Tree. It arrived at our doorstop and was nice and a collapsible toy. It was so easy to put together, and my husband Dave put our pet tent on our tiled floor right away near the entry room. Pukini went in and out right away, and than basically ignored it. We started wondering, oh no is this going to be a dud. But we moved it to a different room, of our living room/and area rug, and we said, “Let’s see what happens.” For about a week, they basically ignored it. After one week, they sniffed at it, and I tossed their Birthday treats, and Temptations Chicken cat treats to them. They both went into the pet tent to get the treats, but afterwards came out of the pet tent. Kai is a bigger boy, and I think he’s nervous about going all of the way inside, and doesn’t want to get stuck. Pukini would go in at first to put his body inside the pet tent, and get his snacks like Kai, but would come out. He would go in part way, and than come out, with his butt wiggling out of the pet tent.

We bought the PetMaker Pet Tent, on May 25th of this year, and took a lot of photos and videos, and can’t wait to show them on Instagram/Facebok. Dave would coax Pukini, to go inside the pet tent, and than finally on May 31st, I got a video of Pukini playing wildly with a toy or two. It was hilarious watching him playing with it, inside the pet tent. When Dave ordered it, what was nice was, it didn’t have this lingering stinky smell, like a few other toys we have. Pukini could fit right in, and lay down, and the pet tent is really nice and soft, and has a removable foam cushion padding, which is nice to sit on. Plus the pet tent and removable foam cushion padding is washable, which is nice to have. What we really like is, it has this cloth like loop at the top, of the PetMaker Pet Tent so you can easily pick it up and move it from room to room, or take it with you, or collapse it down, to take somewhere, or put it away, when your pet doesn’t use it anymore. The space I liked is it gives your pet a quiet place to sleep, or rest, and have some privacy, and security. According to online, product details are: Materials: Polyester and Polyurethane Foam. Dimensions: (L) 13.5” x (W) 13.5” x (H) 15.75”. The small dog bed can be hand washed in cold water, and used by pets 16lbs or less. Color: Gray. They had a nice variety for colors to choose from by the way.

Im just glad that Pukini has been going in and exploring, and sitting down, and grabbing and playing with their toys in and out of the PetMaker Pet Tent, and Kai just still sniffs for treats. You just never know, Pukini will like a toy/enrichement that say Kai might not like, and vice versa. Thank goodness for the size of the PetMaker Pet Tent, and it’s nice and cozy, and makes your pet feel secure like Pukini did. This also fits small dogs, kittens, and small animals the description said. Pukini when he got more used to it, he would play wildily and playfully roll over and over in the pet tent, trying to grab at a toy, or from the inside or on the outside. The tent would collapse down a bit, from Pukini rolling over and over and it was so funny to watch. By the way, cat tepee can be hand washed in cold water. Give it a try and let your cat have some fun and privacy at the same time.

Did you hear the news in our house, there is a tasty cat sensation, kind of canned cat food, and it’s called, Fancy Feast Beef & Chicken Feast Classic Pate. Happy 7th Birthday Kai and Pukinii, and I sang Happy Birthday to them. We bought three different flavors of say, Chicken Pate, Liver and Chicken, but the one we were curious about was the Fancy Feast Beef & Chicken Feast Classic Pate. So I told the cats the news, and they went meow twice and they ran to the kitchen before I did. I reached into our cupboard, and brought the can out, and let the cats sniff it first. Afterwards, I got the can and used their pop up tab to open it up, and as soon as I opened the can of food, the cats started meowing and meowing like crazy. I put one-two tablespoons of food on the plates, and put it in the microwave for five minutes to warm it up a bit. They both devoured their food, in like in one minute or less, and those plates were licked clean! The next three days after, I gave them both their food again on separate plates, and that’s it until maybe July 4th holiday week. Stay tuned.

The cats after they licked the plates clean than, licked their paws over and over and if they could, they would have given me a score of ten for how good it taste. Temptations Happy 7th Birthday Cat Treats, Kai and Pukini! They’re ALL MINE PUKINI!

Dave and I can’t believe it’s here!!! Happy seventh Birthday, Kai and Pukini! We went into our local shelter and you adopted us, and so we couldn’t wait to take you home as kittens. Fast forward, your seven years old, and it’s time to celebrate your birthday, with some tasty TEMPTATIONS Birthday Cat Treats, and they are lobster and beef, or surf n turf hard on the outside, but soft inside. Dave helped get a good photo on the countertop, of the cat treats. As soon as I shook the bag, out they came running. Here they are, both came running, before I could give them some Birthday treats. Kai declared these are all mine, and put his paw right down on the bag. He said, these are his and not Pukini’s. I said that they are treats for the both of you. So I got photos and a video, and opened the bag, and threw a few treats of tasty lobster and beef flavored cat treats to Kai, and he ran to get each one. Pukini is a little slower, and he got his treats as well. I had to put some treats on the armchair, so Pukini could eat his, while Kai wanted to reach up and grab to eat Pukini’s treats. We sang Happy seventh Birthday to the both of them. They are only two calories in each treat, and we gave them treats separately, as well as on top of their dry cat food.

The treats are in a good stay fresh pouch, and fun to shake them. I love Temptations Happy Birthday Cat Treats, and this is a good size of 6.3 oz bag, and they enjoyed every bite. When it’s your cat(s) Birthday, don’t forget to tempt your cat(s) with these treats. Next time, if you want to see some excitement and running and chasing fun for a special treat with your cat(s), don’t forget to play first, and than reward your cats with these tasty Temptations Birthday Cat Treats. Shake Shake Shake.

Catstages Nighttime Catnip Rolls Cat Toys - 3 Pack!

One-two more Christmas toys of 2023 to go. These Catstages Nighttime Catnip Rolls Cat Toys - 3 Pack! These three pack of purple, yellow and white, braided looking toys, were sniffed at and sniffed at before I took them out of their package. We felt like these were unique and never had toys like this before. Even though they had catnip in on the toy, than I still decided to put a dab of catnip on each one of the catnip rolls. The games have begun, and Pukini rolled over on his side and is playing and is pawing at batting, biting, and chewing at the bright colored, twisted like cat toys. Pukini says, Mommy and Daddy don’t worry, I’ll protect my brother, and us from all of these toys. I am on the chase for some fun hunting, of these toys. They are short, and small, lightweight and they can grab these toys easy, like pray, while Kai was busy sniffing at these toys. Funny thing is, Kai today, couldn’t wait to have a chance to play, and he did. I threw one or two of the toys on the tiled floor near the kitchen, and Kai chased the toy(s) down, and started batting at it, and than put it in his mouth like it’s his baby, or like prey, and brought it back to the area rug. He was like a kitten all over again, and you will see the video next week. Best playing he did on this toy.I haven’t had a chance to have the boys play with these at night time, not yet anyway. I am just a little nervous having the boys play with these toys at night, with no supervision. What I liked about these toys is, they are tightly braided and no loose strands of yarn or more. Like any toys, cat(s) have their moods, and sometimes they are crazy for these toys, but sometimes they are not, it just depends.

After the catnip was on the toy, Pukini was playful, but wired to not chase, or run but as soon as the catnip was on the floor, he went at it. I wished these toys would have been bigger and longer around to grab at them better. But nonetheless, they worked as best as could be. I am not sure how much catnip was on these toys, but you can never have enough. The good thing is with a plethora of toys around, no more need for ruining anymore furniture. These toys can be played at any.ages for your cat(s), and are great if you have multiple cats at your home. What a deal at a $1.49 for a three pack. Unfortunately when we were playing, we only have two of these toys not three, now. I think one of the cats, hid the other toy so I can’t find it. Ha ha. According to online: This item is not recommended for cats that chew heavily. If your cat(s) love catnip like ours, than get this unique of an enrichment toy a try.

GorincensGizmos!

Just a few more toys from Christmas of 2023, to show you on our blog, and it’s called: GorincensGizmos. Also, it’s called as well, Under the Door Cat Toy. Unfortunately, we tried to get our cats, Kai and Pukini to sniff the toy first which they did, and than I put it under the door, and had the door open to see what they would do. Kai came to check out and see what I’m doing, and Pukini was outside of the door. I tried to put the toy under the door, and slide it under the door, but the cats were not interested. So after all of that, I put catnip on the area rug, and they were wild from the catnip, and were wild from rolling in the catnip. So I took the GorincensGizmos, under the door cat toy, and tossed it on the floor, and than Kai and Pukini grabbed, pawed, tossed it around, and Pukini bit at one end of the toy, and was batting it around as well. Chew chew, chew at it Pukini, and rub rub rub, with Kai’s playing he did.

I liked how it was tightly knitted or crocheted, and they have a bright variety of colors to choose from. According to Danielle, the owner of GorincensGizmos, the toy is nine inches long and just over two inches in diameter. I wished it was a bigger length of a toy, but it was doable. It was a different kind of toy, than we have ever had bought and played with. I liked that it was a bendable, but nice and sturdy toy. Our cats, Kai and Pukini, have very long nails, and so thankfully after they played with the toy, it was still intact, and not in pieces. Enjoy these bright colors, and according to online this was made of acrylic yarn, acrylic ball. Finally, have a ball of fun, with this toy.

Gertar 2 in 1 Simulated Cat Toy With Green Mat and Blue Ball!

This Gertar 2 in 1 Simulated Cat Toy, with Green Mat and Blue Ball-was recommended to me, from an acquaintance of mine. Thanks for this recommendation, and we couldn’t wait to order it. So after we ordered it, than it finally came. We couldn’t wait to open up this new toy. We took it out of the package, and both cats, Kai and Pukini gave it a good sniff. We didn’t charge it right away. We followed the directions, and pressed on the ball first to see what it would do. There are two different modes to play with: According to online: Two Modes: Gertar cat tunnel toy, normal mode (toy starts to roll freely, and automatically shuts down after 5 minutes) & passive smart mode (press and hold for 3 seconds in normal mode to switch to smart mode), the toy automatically shuts off after 5 minutes, activates the toy when the cat touches it, allowing the cat to play anytime. We put it on both the area rug, carpet, and tiled floors. It spins, vibrates, and that’s what you want, but on the tiled floor, it got stuck on the grout areas of the floor, and than we had to move it, or kick it lightly with our foot. On the carpeted floor the ball, just spins and vibrates again, but didn’t move as well, on its own.

Once we put the green mat down on the tiled, or carpeted floors there is on the back of the mat, underneath is this sleeve like opening, or pouch to put the ball into. Once it is in that pouch area, we pressed it once until both the green and blue modes came on for playing. We than put the mat down on all floors of the area rug, carpet and tile, and the ball worked ok, but the ball moved a bit, but just spun and spun. The cats were intrigued and wanted to paw, sniff, and just stared at it as it spun on all the floors. Also, the mat and ball didn’t do very well on the tiled floor, and again just spun and spun. The cats liked the ball spinning, but didn’t do as well, because the ball kept getting stuck in the grout areas with or without the mat.

Finally, overall it is a cute idea, but I feel like it needs to go back to the drawing board, and the sleeve or pouch needs to be more grip like, or the ball needs to be able to have the cats grab it as well. It needs more openings or sleeve/ pouch openings, to put the ball into, and it needs to roll better on all surfaces of your house. Plus it needs to have a better way to interest your cat to not be bored, and keep your cats moving more. Our cats, Kai and Pukini just liked to lie down on the mat, and rest on it, but than would get bored and get up and leave, like saying, “Next Mommy”. We recommend you don’t order this toy, not worth the money, and thankfully it was almost fourteen dollars. Finally, it needed a way to have an apparatus to come and reach in and out of the matting to get the ball to go back and forth, or move around outside of the matting area around the mat. It needed more capability instead of just lighting up and spinning in one place and vibrating. Good luck!

Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Thing 1 and Thing 2 Catnip Cat Toy- 3 Pack-Part 3!

Are you ready for the Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Thing 1 and Thing 2 Catnip Cat Toy- three pack-Part 3? We have enjoyed all of these promotional cat toys from PetSmart. What a cute pack of toys, including these miniature Dr. Suess Cat in the Hat Toys, and these blue colored with wild hair toys, of Thing 1 and Thing 2. How could you not like these adorable toys, with catnip inside them. I wanted to give the cats, Kai and Pukini the ultimate sniff test. They looked and sniffed at them, and snuggled a bit with them. Kai just sniffed at them, but Pukini gave it the sniff, and rub, but couldn’t wait to chew at the blue hair of Thing 1, and Thing 2 catnip toy. Chew at the hair he did, and pawed at the toy.

These Thing 1 and Thing 2 catnip cat toys, are so cute for miniature toys, at four inches long, and a great size for your cat(s). According to online: Can keep your cats entertained, and cats of all ages can play with these toys. It’s just so fun to see what your cats will do, but our cats just sniffed, or rubbed, but no kicking at these toys. Maybe they were to small, who knows. I just like to observe to see what they do with their toys, when I put them on the floors and area rug. Toys to have fun and explore, for indoors playing. I love the looks on the faces of the toys, and you could almost use them as puppets at story time. My favorite of all the toys, were the Green Eggs and Ham book, and the Dr. Suess Cat in the Hat bigger cat toy, or part 1, because of Pukini's kicking and kicking at the toys. As far as this toy of, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and miniature of Dr. Suess Cat in the Hat, I enjoyed them the least, as well the stuffed green eggs and ham toys. I did love the blue hair on Thing 1 and Thing 2 though, and so did Pukini.

According to Online:The catnip inside the toys is pet-friendly, making it a safe and enjoyable treat for your cat. Dr. Suess Plush Green Eggs & Ham Catnip Toys, 3 pack- Part 2!

Here we go, are you ready for another three pack of promotional toys at PetSmart, called: Dr. Suess Plush Green Eggs & Ham Catnip Toys, three pack for pets- Part 2? I took the toys out of the bag, and took the three separate toys from the package, and first I had our cats, Kai and Pukini give them a good sniff. I wanted the cats to check for some catnip on the book, Green Eggs & Ham crinkle book, the green eggs toys, and the green ham toy. I put them on the area rug, and noticed that the book had this cute crinkle sound to it, to get their attention. This was Pukini’s favorite of the three toys. Pukini sniffed and so did Kai but it was Pukini who sprung into action, and sniffed at the Green Eggs and Ham Crinkle book, and gave it the best kick, kick, kick ever. He reminded me, that Mommy we can’t read, and proceeds to kick the book away. Too cute, they both sniffed at the green eggs, and ham toy briefly, and told me, I don’t think I will enjoy eggs that are green, and ham that is a green enrichment toy. I enjoyed observing and playing with our cats to see what they will do next. It sure kept Pukini enlightened, and engaged, and what a fun enrichment, and it’s entertaining. Kai didn’t kick at the toy at all, and just looked, and sniffed at it.

Each toy measures four inches long, and is filled it says online with organic catnip. I got some cute photos and a video of the sniffing, or staring at the toys from Kai, but Pukini couldn’t wait to sniff at the green eggs toy and than the ham toy. The best part was when he sniffed at the book toy, we put it on the floor, and Pukini gave it some good kicks to let it know who was boss. He really went at it, and couldn’t stop kicking. It’s great exercising those back and front paws to kick and kick. Since they both are indoor cats, it’s so important to keep your cat, engaged, and not bored. According to online: You want them to try to keep them active and energetic for many years to come. Also the catnip makes a calming product, according to online as well, and cats of all ages would love this product. Finally, according to online, This three pack set is an excellent addition to your cat products and makes the perfect gift for your furry friends. So why wait? Add some fun to your cat's playtime with the Green Eggs & Ham Plush Catnip Toys. As with all cat toys, please supervise your pet when they play with this toy.
