Lookout!! WHACKAMOUSE!

Whisker City Whackamouse Corrugate Scratcher Cat Toy, or I like to call it, Lookout!! WHACKAMOUSE! This is our next toy to feature. After taking this cardboard off of the toy, it was time for some play. It is a cute idea, but unfortunately our cats, Kai and Pukini didn’t use it for its intended usage. I thought, it has these mice like on these pop up sticks, and some corrugated cardboard material for scratching. So every time I would bring this Whackamouse toy out, I would press the mouse stick levers down to have several of the mice come up. I would do this over and over, and than I would take the cats paws, and try to have them press down, on these mouse pop up stick levers, but they weren’t interested, or knew what to do. Plus my husband, Dave would try the same thing, and press these mouse pop up sticks to show, Kai and Pukini what to do. Even the corrugated cardboard was promising, for the cats to try, but all Pukini wanted to do, was sit on top of it. I thought oh well, we tried, even myself, and I tried to use my fingernails to scratch at the corrugated cardboard, to see if they would do it as well. Our cats didn’t even do that.

The only thing that Kai enjoyed was, when I would put these tasty chicken cat treats in these five circles, where their mice would pop up, if you pressed on the levers, of the Whisker City Whackamouse Corrugate Scratcher Cat Toy. I would even put the treats on top of the cat toy, and Kai or Pukini would try to get a treat. Like his cat amazing boxes, Kai would take his paws where the mice were in the circled areas, and take his paw and grab that treat out. Not the way this Whackamouse Corrugate Scratcher Cat Toy was intended for, and this toy was a dud. I really wished they would have played with it more, but they liked to sniff at the mice as well. I thought with the treats in the circles, that they would at least try to grab for a treat, and Kai got a few out, but that was it.

Now like I say, just because our cats didn’t play with it, doesn’t mean your cat(s) won’t get some enjoyment from it. Even if they scratch at the cardboard, or grab at a treat it’s something, but maybe your cat(s) will have that killer mouse instinct.
