I couldn’t wait to check out another toy we bought at Christmas for our cats, Kai and Pukini. I took it out of the plastic bag it came in. This is another toy from Etsy, and thank you Cassie for your homemade fun toy. I love homemade toys, and such creative people out there. This reminded me of a snake with yarn threads hanging down, and I loved to move It back and forth, and up and down. This drove the cats crazy, because they couldn’t keep up with the directions they had to chase it. I loved the fact it was made out of yarn, and it was on a yarn like wand, and not a on a wired wand. I like the fact it doesn’t get tangled up, because I still have it in it’s original plastic bag it came in. What I liked was it was a color we never had before: A pastel green color and white. Kai and Pukini besides chasing this wiggle wand side to side, and back and forth, it was fun to just dangle the wand up high, to see how high they would jump to grab at the strands of yarn. They would bite, claw, and grab it like their prey.
According to Cassie of The Wiggle Wand, this is the only toy that engages all of your cat’s senses of: Hearing, seeing, chewing, smell it, scratch it, and chase it. Is there a scent to the wand or threads?

Hi Paula, when we bought this Wiggle Wand, we never noticed any scent from this toy, but maybe our cat’s did. Maybe over time, the scent goes away.
ReplyDeleteAs for her describing this product, Cassie does explain no toy is indestructible. We got the toy at Christmas time, and started playing with it on January 7th. When I took it out of the bag, I thought here is Kai, with long claws in months time here, will tear this yarn apart. We play every week with it, but have noticed over time it has started to fray. I still play with it, even if the yarn pieces tray, because both cats still like to chase, grab, and bite at it, and have fun. After we play with it, on each Saturday of the week, I put it back in the bag in came in with.
