Ottoman Cat Toy Storage Cube!
It’s been years, but after so many toys for the boys, Kai and Pukini needed a multipurpose place to store all or most of their cat toys in. We have other places we usually store their toys, when our cat tree is in the living/dining room. But after Thanksgiving, every year the cat tree goes out to the garage to stay out there for several months. So besides their tunnel enrichments/toys, I store them in there as well and more. What I love is it is placed under our front window in the family room, inside so the cats can jump up on the ottoman and look out at the window outside. It is nice and made of faux leather, and it’s very sturdy, for our two big sized cats. They love looking outside, whether the window is open or closed.
What a nice place to sit for our cats, but it’s a great organizer, when you have so many toys, and we have all kinds of toys in this storage cube. It’s a pretty good sized box or cube inside and the dimensions online are:15"D x 15"W x 15”H. We needed this toy organizer, because I have toys that are wand like wired toys, and I keep them in gallon sized ziplock bags so they don’t get tangled up. Plus we have an assortment of toys we have bought over the years, and organized in this cube.
Finally, when the cats aren’t sitting up on the Ottoman Cat Toy Storage Cube, online it says, you can use it as a foot stool as well. When your looking for a multi purpose box, or cube to have for storage, take a look this product. Give it a try and see the results for yourself, and tell all of your cat friends. Be glad you did.

Cardboard Cat Cave!
What cat(s) don’t like boxes, or Cat Caves? Our cats sure do! Since it’s the Christmas season, we have loads of cardboard boxes in our garage. So one day, my husband Dave took a huge cardboard box, and took a box cutter and cut out a circular hole. He brought the box in, to see what the cats would do with this enrichment idea. It’s our DIY cardboard cat cave, and let’s have some fun. The cats both explored and checked out the toys I threw in the box, and jumped in the box and playing hide and seek. I also tossed in cat treats and just watched both cats trying to retrieve them. This enrichment idea is so simple, and now it’s a free toy like enrichment to put on our blog. We even put the box on it’s side, or straight up, or upside down, or any which way for a variety, and so the cats don’t get bored.
We have no link to this DIY cardboard cat cave of fun, but we didn’t need too. Let the possibilities with your cats run wild. We would take a variety of wand toys, like the bees, lizards, birds, rats, mice, and try to attract their attention, to paw, and try to chase these toys. Also, I would take this longer wand like toys, that look like worms, and maneuver it back and forth to the inside of the box, back and forth. They enjoyed that a lot. The best to me and my husband Dave, were connecting these tunnel looking toys and as well as our Hocus Pocus 2 pup up tent to connect to the circular area of the box. Pukini loved it, and we Ioved it, when he wiggled his rear end and than proceeded to run right through the tunnel(s) to the box and out of it, and than turn right around and go back out again. It was just hilarious how excited they both enjoyed this free enrichment toy of fun. When you’re looking for a new enrichment idea, you can’t go wrong, because you can get any variety of boxes, and have fun exploring with your cat. Mix it up, and put in some new and old toys, and what’s fun is to see what they can do with their imagination to entertain themselves.

Watch the Birdie!
Hartz Just For Cats Chirping Bird Interactive Plush Catnip Cat Toy. Are you ready for another fun birdie toy review of another bird, from the same website? We are. Anyway, this light blue colored bird, had a cute but annoying loud chirp sound to it, but I wondered if the noise bothered our cats. I like to throw it up in the air, or toss it to the cats to play with, and I want them to hear that loud annoying bird sound when they play with the bird. When they do they ignore it. I gave it mixed reviews, like a two and half, out of five stars, or fifty-fifty they liked, or didn’t like it. According to online, the plush material of the bird, is filled with catnip, but I added some catnip on top of the bird to add more catnip scent to it.
When I tossed the bird in the air, or batted the bird to both cats, they were interested some times and sometimes they weren’t. What I liked was it gave them a bit of hunting, and exercising fun, like when they are in the wild. It makes them feel like they are predators after the kill. Kai didn’t get quite as excited at this toy, but Pukini did at times. I loved it when I tossed him the bird, and he rolled over one way, and the other way. It was funny, and I loved his reaction. Must be some exciting catnip we have, and Pukini acted like a kitten. I know Pukini loves feathers, because when we had the other bird, he destroyed the feathers of the other bird we used to have. With this bird, he would take the bird, and just grab it, and take his paws tightly in his grip, and bite at it.
Finally, give this bird toy a chance, because you don’t know about a toy unless you give it a try to find out. They ship randomly a variety of colors of the bird. We loved the light blue color of the bird, we received. Unfortunately, according to online it is currently unavailable and it said this: We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock. Just keep checking, and you never know they might bring it back for you to buy down the line. Enjoy watching the birdie and have a fun time.

Wobbly Treat Dispensing/Catnip Toy!
Whisker City Yarn Ball Wobble Treat Dispensing Cat Toy-This was another unique Christmas toy we bought for our cats, Kai and Pukini. This toy reminded me of a wobbly salt and pepper shaker but an enrichment toy using catnip, and treats in the toy. It is part yellow color, at the bottom to put the cat treats in these two areas with holes to hunt out the treats for fun and enrichment. The top yellow part with gray at the top is for putting in the catnip, underneath the bottom of the lid.
Once you put the catnip inside, and cat treats, your ready to have some enrichment toy fun. I held it up for Kai, and or Pukini and than they just took a little sniff, and than I shook the toy and a bit of catnip and treats came out of the two holes. Once on the area rug, I spun it a few times with my hand, and rolled this wobbly toy towards Kai and or Pukini, while they were snorting up the catnip. While they snorted up the catnip, on the floor, they both at least touched the toy and sniffed at it, but no pawing or playing with this toy much. I even helped both cats with my hand or foot, to knock out a few treats, and cat nip from the toy on the floor.
On a scale of 1-10, I give it about a 1-2 for uniqueness, and for an inquisitive hunting experience. Try it with your cat(s) and see what they think of this enrichment toy, play, and hunting experience. They might like it, because every cat is different and they might like it, whereas another cat might not. Have a fun enriching experience. Finally, according to online, this toy is currently unavailable. It said this: We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock. This is what it said online, so keep checking, and see if or when it will be available again.

Flopping Fish Fail!!!
Potaroma Cat Toys Flopping Fish with SilverVine-At Christmas time of 2020, we couldn’t wait to take this toy out of its box to play with it. Our cats get really excited over the holidays for new toys. We decided to charge it right away, and so we took the USB rechargable mechanism, so you don’t have to replace the batteries. Here is how you use this toy according to online: Unzip the fish belly, flip the switch on to the right, and than tap the fish belly to make the fish flop. When charging, the red light comes on, and when fully charged, the red light goes out. So it was time, to unleash the fish, or what we ordered was a carp like fish. We put this fish on the area rug in our living room, and flipped the switch to the right. That fish when touched, or threw on the ground, moved and wiggled like a real fish. The body and the fluke/tail moved up and down really fast, and it was a loud sound of a fish. We didn’t like the volume of the fish, too loud. Our cats, Kai and Pukini got really excited, and started biting, pawing, and chewing at the toy for several minutes. When the cats took a break, or stopped playing, the fish paused or stopped, until you touched it or played with it again. Even dogs might like this toy, according to online. Finally it had this realistic soft and safe fish cover, and is one hundred percent safe for your pets. No smelly padding, or toxic plastics are used in the fish toy, which we were happy to hear. After the boys were tired of the toy or were worn out, I turned the switch to the left to stop it from playing, until next time.
Now fast forward over time, it’s like after three years later we forgot about this fish toy, and overtime so did the cats. We had the toy in our Ottoman storage container, where we keep all or most of their toys. But now since our blog, we’ve later over the years have had A LOT more toys to play around with. So we put the fish on the area rug, and they didn’t chew, bat or paw at it this time around. I would put catnip on the fish and the floor, and they just sniffed at it and just stared at it. Sometimes you have a toy that’s a hit, and than you buy more toys over time, and than the cats might lose interest.
So in 2020, we give it a score of 10, but this time around in 2023, it’s a failing score of 1-2, and that’s why we gave it a title of Flopping Fish Fail. When they were not interested, than just would get up and walk away. You can order a variety of fish, and we have the carp fish. The other varieties of fish are: Clownfish, Gemfish, koi, rainbow trout, red carp, and red koi. Cats are like people, you can’t ask them what they want, because they can’t tell you, and so you just take a chance and see what works.
P.S. I looked back at the video that did work, that the cats liked of the Potaroma Cat Toys Flopping Fish with SilverVine, but now I can’t find it. It was a great video to post on Instagram and Facebook, but it got lost, or deleted. Oh well, I have plenty of other photos/ and or video to show you instead of the ones that to the cats were still cute to me, but weren’t too exciting to the cats. Like the title says, Flopping Fish Fail!!! Here is the link.

Bird Is The Word!
Hartz Just For Cats Chirping Bird Interactive Plush Catnip Cat Toy-This was a toy we bought for our cats, Kai and Pukini a few years ago for Christmas. The toy was in a bag in our bedroom closet until Christmas. The story goes like this: In the living room, Dave happen to look over, and here is Pukini with his Hartz Just For Cats Chirping Bird Interactive Plush Catnip Cat Toy, and the poor bird, and his feathers, were all tattered, and he caught his prey, and had the biggest smile on his face. He hunted and caught this bird all by himself!
The poor bird looked like it had been thru the mill. The blue feathers on his tail were all chewed up and he looked like he lost a round with our cat. We ended up buying another one. So after all these years I brought it out, and even though there is catnip inside the bird, he wasn’t quite as interested in it. So I put more catnip on the bird, and on our area rug, and he was ready to play wildly with the bird.
When I threw it up in the air, and or batted it around, this cute bird toy, had this cute but loud chirping sound. I added more catnip on the area rug in the living room floor and on the bird, and Pukini rolled over and over on his sides, trying to grab at the bird. It was so funny watching the interactive bird toy, with Pukini pawing at it. On a scale of 1-5, my husband and I give it a 4 out of 5 stars, meaning a better than average toy. Not bad for close to eight dollars and fifty cents.
It definitely brought out the fun playing and hunting for his prey instinct in our cat Pukini, and trying to chase, and swat at it. Pukini loves feathers, and loves to sniff, paw and chew at it. I loved how after rubbing and snorting up the catnip, and rolling his body side to side, how much he acted like a kitten to now an adult of over 6 years old. What a beautiful bird it is with some nice bright blue, red, and more colors. Have a fun bird is the word, chirping time.

Snack Slinger!
Furhaven Snack Slinger Treat Dispenser Training Toy - I was rummaging through our ottoman toy storage container, and found this different kind of toy that can sling treats to your pets, or in our case our cats. My husband Dave had an easier time maneuvering this toy, a certain way in order to sling the treats, but once you keep practicing, than it worked ok for me. I feel the need to give it a two out of five stars, because at first I had a hard time figuring out how to launch their snacks in this launcher toy at first. The positives of this product were, you needed no batteries, and it wasn’t attached to a messy tangly wire like wand. My complaint is, it does not launch the treats very far at all, and you could throw them by hand even farther. It said online, that it can launch these treats as far as ten feet which it did at times, or it landed around one-two feet from where I launched it as well.
You can use this snack slinger not only on your cat(s), but it’s for dogs as well, and comes in a variety of colors: Black, Green, Pink, and Light Blue, and what we like is, it is lightweight and the dimensions are L6.5" x 5" x 2”. Also when we launched the snacks, are cats didn’t have to go far to retrieve them. I feel they need to go back to the drawing board, and make it more user friendly, and figure out a way for the treats to be slung farther. When you put the cat treat in that launcher hole opening area, just put one treat at a time in, so it doesn’t get jammed up. We put these rectangular looking one inch approximately cat treats in, and pushed down the launcher and pressed to launch the snack, and there it goes. This toy can give your cat some exercise, depending how far each launch of treat goes.
The nice thing about this toy is, it’s another slinger toy to have, plus it’s seven dollars, and very inexpensive. Have fun, playing with your cat(s), and have a great and flinging and slinging fun time.

Cat Scratch Fever!
SmartCat Ultimate Scratching Post- We have had one of these SmartCat Ultimate Scratching Posts before for years, but now it’s wearing out a bit. So we felt it was time to get another one for our two male cats, Kai and Pukini We put it right next to their cat tree, for added enrichment. It’s so fun to watch what they attempt to do, just scratching away, and getting a good stretch. I put a treat or two up top of cat scratch, and I watch and watch to see if they will be excited to take their paw(s) to reach up and get that treat. I took some photos and videos, and I just love it when Pukini scratches away, and than tilts his head back and looks over his shoulder at us to say, “Do you see me Mommy and Daddy, did I do good?” Kai doesn’t react that way, but he can scratch away when he’s in the mood, or just be a little lazy about it. Either way, it’s just fun to see what they do each time they use the cat scratch.
It is close to fifty dollars, but a good deal for yourself, and your cats. Your cats will thank you and so will you, because it’s a good thing to get one or two of these, so they don’t destroy any furniture you have in the house. Believe me, they have already destroyed a section of my Mom’s furniture, and one cat ruined our wicker hamper, and more. What we like is it is tall at thirty-two inches high according to online, and it is sturdy which we like, for example sixteen inches by sixteen inches base eliminates tipping and wobbling. Kai needs something very strong, that he can use to help him utilize those strong claws of his. Less snagging on the carpet and more. According to online, and my husband said, this was really easy to put together using two screws, and two dowels to go from the box to your living room. We ordered the color brown for the cat scratch, but it looks like cream, and goes well with our carpet, and it goes well with the scratching posts colors on their newer cat tree. Finally, it has a durable sisal fiber design, to handle the strength of your cats claws and reaching up to grab at it.
Overall, we have been very happy with this product, and your cat will thank you, and so will the family who won’t have to be concerned about destroyed furniture. Enjoy your cat scratch product for many years to come.

Let’s ROLL!!
Sphero Mini (Blue) App-Enabled Programmable Robot Ball that is for kids, and family, but we bought it for our cats, to play with. We bought this cute mini ball cat toy about five years ago, to try it out with out cats. As it turns out, we forgot about it as it was buried in the Ottoman toy storage with our other cat toys. Before we played Sphero, we had to charge it, and when we did, it blinked blue as it was charging, and then changed solid green to let us know it was finished charging. So here we go, hey Pukini and Kai, let’s go, WEEEE! Let’s ROLL, and lets play with this lit up ping pong/cue ball like toy and have some fun. We can’t wait, and we had a ball. We were so ready, and our cats were so excited and it was tricky at times to maneuver this joystick with six different modes, but my husband Dave got used to it. As soon as Dave maneuvered it to move, on his Apple iPhone, the cats looked at the toy, and watched it spin and light up. They chased it back and forth on the carpet, in our hallway, and living room floor, and our tiled floors. The app made different noises on the Iphone, and Sphero made this like whirling sound like noise when it was moving.
We have this Hocus Pocus 2 pop up tent, and this lime green mini tunnel was inserted on one end of the entrance to the tunnel toy on the floor. When Sphero was going back and forth, on our carpet floor, Pukini was hiding inside his pup up tent, and when it went by, Pukini tried to bat at it. When the cats were waiting for the toy to go by, Pukini would be in the mini tunnel, and run out of the Hocus Pocus 2 pop up tent to chase the toy. As it went by beaming and taunting our cats, both Kai and Pukini looked at one another to say, “What’s this thing?” Watch out, it moves pretty fast, but so funny to watch. The cats followed Sphero mini toy robot ball everywhere it went, and they were mesmerized by this toy as it went under our living room table. They kept chasing this little blue beam like shaped ball, until they were lying on their sides asleep and worn out.
It is a toy mostly for kids and their family, but who says your feline family member can’t have a go at it as well. Sphero comes in a variety of colors, and it was pricey for fifty dollars. But it offered a lot for the cats to play with, and had some games, and STEM activities for the kids and families to play with. Finally, when your ready for more rounds of WEEEE, and ROLLING FUN, let’s GOOO get the cats ready to PLAY!

It’s A Blast!
NERF Disruptor Elite Blaster - 6-Dart Rotating Drum, Slam Fire, Includes 6 Official Elite Darts - for Kids, Teens, Adults (Amazon Exclusive). What a blast it is for myself and for our cats, Kai and Pukini. We ordered this right away from Amazon, and it sounds like kids, and humans use this toy, but we wanted to try out this toy on our cats, and Kai loved it the most. What a blast it was get it, ha ha! You never know with each toy, what results from your cat(s) you will get. After having the six foam darts come with the blaster, we decided to get more dart refills for more blasting fun.
This is our second launching toy, and we love toys that can be launched. Besides the disrupter elite blaster toy, it comes with these six nice and soft nerf like toy darts, and it can hold onto this rotating drum like holder, with these 6 holes that the darts can be filled into. I wanted to fire all of these darts at once, but when fired off, I didn’t want to have the cats chase them, and when launched at once, lose every single dart. So I took one foam dart each, in the rotating drum area, and purposely either launched to the wall of the living room, the hallways, tile floors, or anywhere else.
First thing is first, to get the blaster ready, according to online pull the slide back, and release. To check the indicator, it’s orange, it is primed and ready to fire. Watch out, these darts can fly, and they can go pretty fast and according to online, the darts can go up to ninety feet. For example, I would pick our living room wall, and the dart get’s fired and goes on the floor, or bounces right back on say the chair. I try to aim it lower, at the wall, so than it bounces on the floor and Kai than chases it. It goes so fast and bounces off the wall, and you never know where the dart is going to land. We’ve had this toy for years, and it’s lasted and is a good value for your fourteen dollars.
The reaction we received from our cats, once the dart was fired, was to have the cat(s) chase it wherever it landed, minus the chair and bat, and chase and try to grab and bite at it. Kai’s fave, is to chase it and put it under the chair, or under the fake slab of foie grass. I loved that when fired the dart goes BOING all over the walls, and love the sound.
Enjoy this blast of a toy, with your family, but with your cat(s) as well! Have fun! Here is the link.
P.S. Where the red arrow is in the photo, is where the dart toy is in flight.

Animals… On a Stick!
This is Rozzwild brand set of toys, and I liked the fact it had three animals that you can attach on this elastic rope tied to a wand. It fit nicely in the package, all three animals in the same bag. and is 100% homemade. The mouse, hamster, and balloon toys were so cute and adorable, with a light sounded bell attached to get your cats attention. The bell is not to loud, and has a nice jingle sound to it. The toys were connected to this sixteen inch stick, with an elastic rope used for dangling these toys to taunt and play with your cats. I did like the fact, that there were no wires to get frayed, or tangled up, and I loved the bouncing like rope, to have the toys go BOING!
Once I got the toys out of the bag, the elastic rope seemed nice and tightly braided and looked very durable. Once I got it unwound, I started to taunt our cats, Kai and Pukini with the feathers connected to the toy. What’s better, I read online that these are natural chicken feathers, for a nice and soft touch. I started dangling these animals on a stick, with feathers and a bell sound, over their heads, and they loved it. I tried to put these toys high up, and they tried grabbing, and batting at them. They were trying to get not only the animal, but the feathers. The fun part was having the animals go up and down and side to side, and to and fro. The cats were getting ready to hunt, for that important hunting fun of chasing and jumping, batting and more, and they won the hunt.
It’s too bad, but Rozzwild, included a free gift of this silvervine catnip lollipop ball, but the cats just sniffed at it and that was that. Give it a try your cat(s) might like it.
If your cat wants to try a different kind of animal feather toy, give this a try, and we really liked this toy, and do did our cats. They give it four paws up. Here is the link.

Bend-A-Wand Cat Toy!
Hartz Just For Cats Bend-A-Wand Cat Toy-I loved this cute orange colored bendable toy. It has a nice durable material to hold onto, and an adorable orange colored paw with a bouncing string attached to this pink mouse toy at the end of it. I like the fact it’s not on a wired wand, so no worries of getting it all tangled up. I loved the fact I could put this toy in a knot, from one end to the other end, and then dangle it in front of their faces to taunt them to play. After I undid the knot, I would just take this toy, and bounce it up and down and side to side, and back and forth to get them to react like hunters, to chase it like prey. This toy has a lot to offer: Lots of exercising fun, for your cat(s) and for the whole family. It has them use their paws for coordination, and jumping up and down to grab at anything it sees for food if they were in the wild, and more. At the end of the wand, is this cute pink and grey mouse, which makes a cute squeak like sound, which get’s the cats excited to touch it and grab, swat, and more. What’s even better, they love the smell of the catnip from the mouse, and Kai and Pukini get so excited of the aroma on it.
I was curious to try it, so I took this Bend-A-Wand Cat toy, and tied it around our door knobs, chair arm rests and more. I tried it once, but our cats, Kai and Pukini weren’t interested. They just miss the interaction of me playing with them, and having the toy move. The best part about this toy: Twenty-four inches long elastic string, and is pretty good length for some bouncing cat squeaky mouse fun. Give it a try and if you want to give your cats some fun exercise, move it all over from side to side, and back and forth and more. Hold it up high, to get your cats, like ours to reach and grab, and jump at their toy. Be careful when you fling the wand, too hard on the floors from side to side, because the elastic string broke, but I could tie it together, and it worked no problem. It’s fun to just watch how your cat reacts to this fun, and furry mouse for them to bite, bat, grab, and what a great price of just over eight dollars, and a pretty good deal for the money. Have a great and fun Bend-A-Wand Cat Toy playing time. Enjoy!

Gone Fishin'!
11 Pack Cat Toys Interactive Cat Feather Toys, 2 Retractable Cat Toy Wand, Variety 7 Worms and 1 Catnip Fish Teaser Refills with Bells, Kitten Toys Assortments Fun for Indoor Cats, 1 Replacement Line. Wow what a great deal for close to ten dollars, and you receive a lot of toys, and more. Of all the toys, in the pack, were this pink fish toy with ribbons attached to it. Pukini really likes the fishy toy. Kai liked the brown and black worms the most, as well as the other worms. They were all different colored worms: Lime green, royal blue, brown, black, grey, purple, and dark green. What made me buy this toy, was it came with two retractable toy wands, which I’ve been looking for so it could cover a great distance for playing. The retractable toy wand according to online says, it can extend from: Fifteen inches to from a little over thirty eight inches. Also in other words for product size specification: Retractable thirty nine inches cat wand+twenty one inches woven nylon string. This retractible wand toy could reach one side of the room, to another part of say, the living room. It also had cute like bell sounds on the ends of the beginning of the worm like toys, which the cats liked. The makers of the toy also included, one extra spare line just in case yours broke off, which can happen.
Next according to online, the cat teaser wand is made out of FRP-Fiberglass reinforced plastic, meaning strong but lightweight, and offers the combination of affordability, and efficiency for your product. Also this is made with hardness and higher elasticity. This wand is light, flexible, and durable, and the foam handle feels good in your hand, and makes it easier to use.
Lately besides their other wand like toys, this is one of their favorites. Kai likes to play with Pukini’s toy at the same time, and so when I get out both of the wand toys, I use both, one for Kai to use, and one for Pukini. If I don’t Kai gets wild and comes over near Pukini and takes over. Pukini then goes somewhere else, where Kai isn’t to rest or play and then we resume playing again. Kai is like the energizer bunny, and Pukini plays, but gets a bit tired faster depending on the toy. So when I get this wand like toy out, and I put different worms on the wand, as well the fish like attachments, and I move it side to side and up and down, on our tile and carpeted floors. It’s easy to attach the toys to the wand, with a metal clasp. They both love this retractible wand toy, and it gets myself some fun exercise and exercise for them. I love the extended wand, so I can have it move from one area to the other, and from one cat to the other. I love to have them chase the wand toy all over their cat tunnels, their cat tree, and up and over the chairs and anywhere in between. It’s like real like, but fake worms for your cats to chase.
Lastly, when you’re done playing with the retractible wand toy, you can press on one end of the wand like a telescope, to have it get smaller so you can store it easier. If you’re looking for something that’s a retractable looking toy wand, this is your toy, and so have a great time with it.

Toss, Bat, and Kick!
Jumpaws 2 pack interactive catnip cat kicker with tassel, bite resistant chew toy, crinkle kicker, accessories for indoor cat. As soon as I bought this birthday toy for our cats, Kai and Pukini, they went crazy. I couldn’t take the packaging off fast enough, and they could smell that catnip all over the toy. I just tossed them the toys, and they ran and started grabbing them like they were prey. What I liked about this toy is, they individually had their own catnip kicker toy with tassel to play with, and this lets them go wild and get rid of some stress and anxiety. Both Kai and Pukini seem anxious at times, and has some anxious personalities. Both cat(s)run to their toy, and grab at the toy, and start taking their back paws excitedly, batting and kicking at it, so it couldn’t get away. I loved watching them play with this toy, and have some cute photos and videos to share.
The one thing or two I liked about this catnip kicker toy is it had a tassel on one end of the toy. We don’t have any other of our toys that have a tassel, and wanted to try this new kind of toy. It’s a toy that’s not on a wand, but it has nice and soft fabric with a cat toy in mind, but dog prints on the toy. Anything with catnip will work for a toy with our male cats in mind. I felt like it was the correct length or size for our cats to grab, and kick at the toy. It wasn’t too small, or too big. Also since it wasn’t on a wired wand, it didn’t get tangled up, which was nice.
Also, when I made that crinkle sound before I tossed the toy to them, it got them curious to run and play for some fun exercise. I loved the four different designs they had, besides the dog printed, cat printed, sherpa, and floral varieties plus cute different colors. I would take the tassel and waved it in front of their face, and they would bat at it a few times. It was funny to just watch their reaction to when they ran to the toy, and would excitedly take their front paws, and hold onto the toy, while they took their back paws and frantically kick at their prey so they couldn’t get away. If you enjoy watching them wrestle with a toy, this is the one for your cat(s).
As with any toy, keep an eye that there are no rips or tears, of constant play with this toy. Remove and replace the catnip kicker toy if it gets damaged, according to online. According to online: Your feedback are valued a lot by us. If you have any problem with the our products, please feel free to contact us. A professional customer team will respond soon.

Multi-Level Tower of Fun, Part 2!
After Dave assembled the Heybly Cat Tree 73 inches XXL large cat tower for indoor cats, multi-level cat furniture condo for large cats with padded plush perch, cozy basket and scratching posts with light gray color, on the tiled floor, we decided to move it. Like what was explained before in part one,if there was a fall from our cats, on the tiled floor, we didn’t want them to get hurt. Once the cat tree was up on the tiled floor, in a video you will see, Pukini clawed his way up slowly. If you notice, the cat perch with ball with string underneath, was still on the cat tree at that point. Afterwards, Dave decided to move the cat tree to our carpeted floor in the living room floor, where we felt like it was a better fit to stay. If they fell, there would be padding of the carpet to protect them.
Next, after we moved the cat tree to the carpet, Dave unscrewed the second perch, with the ball underneath, because Pukini was having a hard time going up and around the second perch/porch and around to maneuver around the cat tree. So Dave unscrewed the second level of the perch, and took it down, and you will see photos and or video’s of what it looks like now. More room to move and grow, and it looks like a better place to move up and down and around the cat tree.
Also, after several days of sniffing and exploration, it was time for Kai to give it his scratching post cat of approval. He kept on doing this for a minute or so. We started thinking, just to help them feel more comfortable, a boost up on the cat tree, should help. So we went out to our garage and brought in the older cat condo from, our older cat tree. Think of it as training wheels on a bike, you need training wheels on there for help, build confidence and balance so you can ride your bike freely with out training wheels. Same way for our cats, they need some help to jump up on the older cat tree, to get up to the next levels of the new cat tree. Once they reached where they wanted to go, they had the newer confidence to explore more and more of the cat tree. They have gotten up to try out all the condo’s, and the flat perches/porches, but have not used the hammock, or the basket. They paw at both, but I just use the basket and hammock for toy storage, since we have so many toys. The top upper square shaped perches/porches have not been used, yet, just pawed at. They are a little scared of going up that high, but maybe eventually they will attempt to try it. No worries if they don’t.
When we played with the GoCat Da Purr-Peller, we played and played, and Pukini went up their cat tree, comfortably and looking rested inside the upper second condo, while the toy was worn out from Pukini grabbing at the toy. It was so much fun, and he had a great time exercising, and Pukini said we got to get these bugs, and we don’t want to see them again. Ha Ha I say. You will see a photo of that as well. The second photo, is of Kai deciding he must try this cat tree, and he just slowly crawled up to the second condo, and went inside of it and turned around, and standing up looks down from the cat tree, saying I did it.
The plusses: Nice and cushy two condo’s, to lay or sleep or relax on, and ten scratching posts, a hammock, and a basket, even though they don’t used it for anything, except storage for their toys, and putting their treats in there to hunt for treats. I like the ball toys hanging down from the perches, although Pukini just batted the ball once with his paw, and that’s it. But they are there in case they want to play with the ball toys. Pretty good sized condos, and one is just six inches bigger than the other. Lots and lots of scratching posts which we like.
The negatives: I wished the flat perches/porches were big inside and were bigger on the sides, and I wished the perches were more stable, and were a bit more roomy to sit down and move. Yea I know I should have measured the perches to what we used to have, but we needed something new. Finally, we had to take the second perch from the left with the ball toy attached to it down, and so Dave unscrewed it, because our cat Pukini couldn’t move and get around, and get down, and move to go into the condo below. Now since we have removed that perch, our cats are happier and can get to any part of the cat tree, without the cat perches in his way. Stay tuned next week, with a new toy, and a video of Kai trying out the cat tree. I wished the cat tree had carpet for longer lasting, not a thinner material on all parts of the cat tree.
Disclaimer:Despite what the description says, we feel this cat tree is not suitable for larger breed cats, like for example: Maine Coon Cats. Finally, research it, and try this cat tree out, and give it a shot. You don’t know what works unless you try it. Our cats are getting more used to it, but now they have this tower of fun playground to have for many years to come.

Multi-Level Tower of Fun, Part 1!
Dave and I were were so excited to buy our one of many gifts to our cats, Kai and Pukini’s 6th Birthday. I did as best as I could, and researched online to find the best cat tree on Amazon. Too bad you can’t ask the cats their choice of cat tree. So I looked at several of them. We bought on May 17th, of 2023, a Heybly Cat Tree 73 inches extra extra large cat tower for indoor cats, multi-level cat furniture condo for large cats with padded plush perch, cozy basket and scratching posts in light gray. After buying this cat tree, it arrived on May 18th, and then my husband, Dave assembled it together for our first photo on May 19th of this year. Instead of a cream color, we got a light gray color, and I wanted plushness, and one bigger condo, and one small sized condo, a variety of perches, ten scratching posts and more. Unfortunately the basket, and hammock has just been barely utilized, and we just put some of their toys in the basket and hammock and their treats to hide.
To our one smaller cat, Pukini this is a place to play with this toys, nap, and just rest and relax, and run up our cat tree, and more. On the other hand our bigger cat Kai, he was was not so sure of this cat tree. He is a bigger boy than his kennel mate, Pukini. Like some people, some animals don’t like changes, and get used to what they like. Just to let you know, you do not need any extra tools, and everything came in the box, that Dave put together. We decided to put the cat tree initially on the tiled floor, near our side door, because our former one used to be there. We took our old one down, because it was looking dirty and shoddy looking. The reason I wanted to write this blog in part one, is because there was some photos of the first time, I just wanted to post. In the next week, on part two you will see a video of our cat Pukini, on tiled floor running up the cat tree, and more to come but on the carpeted floor.
When it was assembled, we put it in the corner, and our cats were not sure about it. As Dave was assembling the cat tree together, there in the box was a velcro like cat scratch, to attach on the cat tree. Dave put it on the there, but Pukini didn’t seem interested in it, and it was in the way, of Pukini trying to get down to the second flat porch or perch on the right. So we took it off the cat tree, and it’s no use for us. We also haven’t taken this strap, and attached it to our wall for stability. It just wasn’t needed. It came, to use so your cat would not fall, so we just left it hanging on the cat tree not being used.
Finally, we waited and waited to see what the cats would do, and Pukini decided to say, I’ll give it a try Mommy! Pukini gave it a try and ran up the side of the cat tree on the left side, and went up to the second perch. Look for that next week. So our poor cat, could get up there, but had a hard time with maneuvering around. It is the second perch from the left side, Pukini was trying to figure out, you will see in photos/video(s) of how he got down off the cat tree. He did find his way down, but was cautious about doing that. Finally, Pukini did check out the bigger lower condo, on the right side, and he looked cute and cozy in the photo. Finally, materials are: Particle board exterior cover: Faux fur fabric, and natural sisal rope. The perches had three ball toys hanging by a stronger string hooked underneath each of the three perches. Cute as the balls looked to play with, underneath the perches, Pukini just played with them once or twice, and that was that so far.
Stay tuned for next weeks posting, of Part. 2, on our blog, see ya next week. Here is the link.

Spinning and Soaring Fun Discs Sets!
I was thinking what toy can we put on the blog next, that we have never put on there before. Here is another birthday toy for our cats Kai and Pukini, and it’s a fun, unique, and different kind of toy: It’s called Flying Disc Pet Toy Set-ten discs. I couldn’t wait to try out these colorful disc toys, of two bright colors each like: Orange, red, blue, green, and yellow colors. It came with two blue colored propeller launchers, so you could twist these discs, and then press the trigger and just like that, the disc just flies anywhere you want it to go. I aim the discs at the walls, our cat tree, hallway, tiled floor, and have the cats run to up to the toy, and have the cats chase it and bat it around. I love how the toy is launched from the propeller, and it spins pretty fast in the air and then drops down anywhere it is aimed and the cats try to chase it. It’s like throwing a frisbee to the cats, but instead it’s a disc.
This toy is a great way to get your cats to have some fun exercising, and provides them to react to their pouncing and hunting instincts. The toys are made of high quality plastic materials, which won’t deform, or break. This is perfect for any size of cat, and fun to see their reaction to this toy. If you hold it and a certain angle, it’s interesting to see how far it goes. Some discs performed better than others, although $13.00 is not bad for a total of ten discs.
According to the instructions online, attach a propeller, and turn it clockwise for 1.5-2 circles or turns, and just don’t rotate the propellers excessively. If you do, it will affect the service life of the launcher. Pull the trigger, and yourself and our cat will enjoy playing with this cat fetch toy. After playing with it a few times, and for about 20 minutes plus, it still works, and hasn’t fallen apart.
Finally, as with any toy, supervise your pets to avoid ingestion of small parts, and replace broken toys, for the safety of your pets. This toy can be played with all cats/kittens of all ages and sizes. This is not only a nice gift for your cats, but give this toy to your friends for some disc loving fun. Have a great spinning and soaring good time.

Wiggly Glow Balls!
Another fun and exciting Happy 6th Birthday gift for our cats, Kai and Pukini. As soon as we received this: Dezi & Roo Glow-three pack in-The-Dark Wiggly Ball Fun Cat Toys - Toy Balls for Indoor Cats, we couldn’t wait to play with our cats. What’s interesting is this toy, was designed by a feline veterinarian. I am glad it came in a small plastic bag and I love the three different colors: Pink, green and blue colored looking worm like toys, with a different colored rubber ball attached at the front of the toy. I had the cats sniff it, and they sniffed and batted this toy in the plastic bag, before we played with it. Pukini just batted it a few times, but that was about it.
I took the toys and threw it on our tiled floor but at our wall, and it bounced and bounced, and Kai ran and chased it. Kai plays this toy two ways, he chases it and bats it around, and than catches his prey in his mouth by the and of it’s tail, and decided to keep chewing at it. He is protective of his prey, and I can’t even get his toy away from him. He’s saying mine mine Mommy. I also like it when I throw the wiggly ball toy on the carpet, and against the wall, and Kai said, time to chase it and than I threw it on the floor and it squiggled and wiggled away like a worm moves. Kai chased it and bats it on the floor. I also take my foot, and put it on the tail of the toy, and move it with my foot to have Kai chase and and then I kick it and he chases it. This was a different toy for the cats to check out and, it keeps them exercising at play. According to their website: You can toss, bat, and swing at the toy, and has a life-like movement that shimmies, curls, and wiggles. The ball toys is approximately 1 inch diameter, with the tail ranging between 5-8 inches long. Similar to a small prey your cat might find in the wild, but easy to pick up by the tail. When it glows and you lose it, hopefully you will find it under the couch or anywhere on the floor. Like the website says, no toy is indestructible, and so watch if any pieces fall off, gets damaged or detached then discard it. Only play with close human supervision. Finally, it also is proudly handcrafted in the USA, the website said.
What I really liked about this toy, and the real reason I bought it was, it glows in the dark. Way to cool, and we have a photo to share. We took the toy and put ball part to charge it in the lamp light, but we didn’t do it for to long. So I threw the toy in our living room tile and Kai proceeded to chase it and grab the tail in his mouth. He proceeded to take the toy into our office, and and I saw the toy ball nice and glowing, and I took a photo. Really neat I thought. Coolest thing ever. Have a fun wiggly glow ball time.

GoCat Da Purr-Peller!
Wow our house looks like we have been invaded, with another pest to blog about. Besides Da Bees, Da birds, Da Rats, and Da Mouse and more, we need a pest control company to spray away these pesky cat toys. Ha Ha! Our cats Kai and Pukini try and try and leap, and paw, and grab with all of their might, but these pests just keep showing up at our house.
This GoCat Da Purr-Peller was among many of Kai and Pukini’s Happy 6th Birthday gifts, and many more to share on the blog. We wanted to order something big in size and unusual looking, but exciting to the eyes to play with. Besides any wand toys, I would have to say, this by far is their favorite toy, and ours. When I took this toy out of its package, my husband Dave started flying it around, and did the cats eyes looked big, as ever. All they saw, was this huge three brown winged feathered toy, making a whirling sound of fluttering all round them. It’s a three winged feathered purr-peller, and Dave had it flying over and over their heads, and all over. We loved this toy so much, that we ordered and have two of them now. Our male cats are really strong, and with their long claws, they were so excited to jump up and grab this three winged propeller out of the air. It made them want to hunt and stalk their prey. Our cats, Kai, and Pukini, and I played and played till they were too tired to play anymore. We played it, as you can tell on the carpet, and landing it near or on the cat tree, so Pukini could bat at it. Kai tried to leap with all of his might to grab at it.
The cats were like kittens all over again, jumping up on our chair, and their new cat tree, which you will see in a later post for their Birthday. What’s neat according to the website, the Da purr-peller is made from natural pheasant feathers, which made the toy more exciting to the cats I am guessing. Also, these wands are interchangeable, with other DaCat poles, and is fun for all ages of family and for all ages for kittens/cats. What is better than to have the cats get lots of fun exercise, plus it’s made in the USA. It also spins and glides in the air and it is fun to watch this toy move in the air. Finally, no toy is indestructible, and throw the toy away if it is damaged. Finally, like the product description says, “Bring out the tiger in your cat.”

Happy 6th Birthday, Kai and Pukini!
Happy 6th Birthday, Kai and Pukini! It's unreal that it's been 6 years we've adopted you, on Memorial Day Weekend of 2017. We love you like family. Stay tuned on the blog, and Instagram and Facebook, some upcoming toys we bought for Kai and Pukini, that we will post in the upcoming weeks for their 6th Birthday on the blog.
Got (Cat) Milk?
This was the last gift we bought for Christmas of 2022, for our cats, Kai and Pukini. It is called Whiskas Catmilk, or a cute way of saying, Got (Cat) Milk? Sadly this was not the results we were hoping for, and it was a dud of a present for our cats. We bought a three pack of the cat milk, and put it in a bowl, and both cats, Kai and Pukini just sniffed at it and walked away. These cartons of cat milk were 6.75 oz each, and a price of $12.90, so $4.30 each pack. After we tried the one carton of milk, we threw the carton away. According to the description it is: Whiskas Catmilk for Cats and Kittens. Easy to digest. 98% Lactose reduced. Quality sealed drink.
So we called up our local animal clinic and thought, why don’t we just donate the other two pack cartons to some cats/kittens that could really use it. Unfortunately, they couldn’t use it, and so they recommended our local PetSmart, and than I decided to call them. So I called PetSmart, and there is a lady who comes in and who could use the milk for the cats, she takes care of. I am just glad I did a good thing for some animals out there to enjoy some milk. Like I’ve said before, if your cat(s) don’t like it, maybe there is some kittens or cats that will enjoy it in your family.

Zipline Cat Toy!
Zipline Cat Toy, and yep you heard that right. Unfortunately of all of our two leftover Christmas toys for our cats, this was one of the two that was a dud of a toy. The other one I will put on the blog next week. We were so excited to take this toy out of it’s box and it’s officially called: The Ultimate Kat Toy is the only zip-line, remote control operated cat toy with interchangeable lures to interact with your feline friend. The remote control worked very well, to move the cat toy on the zipline pretty easy, fast and smooth. Well we were hoping for more, and is was sadly a disappointment. Now saying that, your cat(s) might really like this toy, you be the judge.
We wanted to go to Etsy for some different kinds of toys for our boys. We put one end of the zipline around the door knob leading out to our garage, and the other zipline end to the side door knob of our door. Just like that, you can order three different Kat finishes: Black, gray, and white color, and we had chosen black for our Kat finish to be on the cat zipline. Plus Kai, our cat who is a black color of a cat, said to pick black for the cat finish on the zipline. You had these attachments to put on: The iridescent tassel, the white turkey feather and the plushy worm. We definitely put this feather on, and the cats couldn’t believe what they were seeing. They are seeing something of a cat figure head, on a zipline but moving up and down and like a zipline, but back and forth. They weren’t scared, just intrigued and curious about it.
I am so glad I got some photos and a video of it. Can’t wait to show it to you. We played with it, for five minutes or so, and the cats, Kai and Pukini just stared at it going back and forth. Even with the attachments on there, they just watched it and that was that. It was pretty expensive, but we wanted a toy and some uniqueness to it, but not worth the price for sure. Our hope was, that our cats would chase the zipline toy back and forth, and more. I guess we should be lucky that they seemed curious, but that was about it. I liked the inventive idea, of putting this cat face like toy on a zipline, to have it remotely go back and forth. The remote worked very well thankfully. I liked that the zipline was approximately fifteen feet long from one end of the garage door knob, to the side door knob. I’ve seen some five star reviews, and some really liked it, and there were some two star reviews, that people or their cats didn’t like it. Overall, no matter how excited you are about a new toy to try out as well with your cats, some toys are not going to be the best you want them to be for your cat.

Shake, Rattle… and Throw!
Here’s another one of our Christmas gifts for our cats we bought. What I liked was, it had a nice package assortment of three different colors of mice: Gray, black, and white, with cute little ears, noses, eyes, and tails with rattling sounds to them. Also there is twelve mice in the pack, which is a good thing in case our cats, Kai and Pukini lose any mice under the furniture, etc. The mice are so nice and little, with a good value for the how many are in the package, for seven dollars for twelve mice. As soon as I took these two mice out of the pack, I shook, rattled them, and then tossed them against the blue chair, and Kai than started pawing at them right away. Can’t wait to show the photos and video’s of the boys playing with these toys.
Besides throwing the toys at the chair, I threw them on the floor or anywhere for the cats to play with. Recently, I found a purple strap in my dresser drawer, and took a black mouse and tied its tail to the strap, and dangled it in front of Pukini. Just think of tetherball, but using a mouse to bat it around and have fun. I loved dangling the mouse in front of him to have that hunting, and killing instinct to the cat to go after their prey.
What was nice, are the mice were really soft, and plush, and is perfect for kittens and cats to play with at any age. Also, they measure two inches from nose to end, and almost five inches from nose to tail. You never know, these mice can give your cats some exercise, depending on how much your cat likes to play with toy mice. Besides the twelve pack, you can even buy a sixty pack of mice as well. As with any toy, make sure no pieces of the mice are bitten, or torn off, so your cat doesn’t swallow any parts of the toy. Enjoy watching you cats/kittens chasing these mice all over your house.

Leopard Printed Chaser Wand!
I call our next item for the blog: Mini Leopard Printed Chaser Wand that I love to play with the cats, and they enjoy it. I don’t know the name of this toy when we bought it, and sadly I can’t find the one online, we bought years ago. Thankfully I did find this longer one, with a bell that’s a leopard printed wand toy. I wished we had bought this longer one, so I could have it reach both cats father away. The one we have is the same as this longer version regarding the description: It is a nice soft fabric, and is lightweight, and is as tough as one of our male cats are, and it’s not torn apart with Kai’s long claws. What I would have liked was a bell on our previous one, making it have a more jingle like sound for the boys to get excited about. I love to take it out and just twirl and twirl the wand up and down, and side to side so both cats would chase, jump, or paw and bat at it. They are quick and will grab at it hard and, and especially Kai, and not to want to let go, like it’s a striped animal of prey. The one I play with is about two feet, and this longer one is fifty-two inches, and I would have wanted that longer one, but glad I have this toy instead.
Overall, a nice fun toy to play with, and so you know it’s not on a wired wand, and it’s on a thicker and wide fabric like wand, so it doesn’t get all tangled up on. I like the eye catching cream, orange, and black colors of it, and it doesn’t have any roughness or sharp edges or anything. If your pets need exercise, this wand will deliver, and just watch your cats move from all over to catch this fast moving wand toy. So far, so good nothing has come off this toy, and just keep an eye that nothing get’s torn of the wand, or more. Finally, it’s a great deal of close to $9.00 for your wallet, and see what your family, and your cat(s) think of this fun Leopard Printed Chaser Wand. Have a good chase.

Catnip Alternative Chew Sticks!
Meowy Janes Twenty Count Mini Matatabi Cat Chew Sticks - An All Natural Silvervine Cat Toy and Treat - Catnip Alternative-This was another let’s just say enrichment toy, for Christmas time for our cats to play with. At first I let our cats, Kai and Pukini just sniff the bag of the Matatabi Cat Chew Sticks. They sniffed at the bag, and seemed interested. I opened the bag, and took a few sticks out of the package, and they chewed on a stick or two, of it. It was good thing they liked to chew on it a bit, because the write up says these sticks act as a natural toothbrush for your cats. I have put the sticks back in their pouch when done, and I do use these sticks repeatedly, to see if they notice any scent left, or chewable flavor to it. I put the sticks under their noses and they just sniffed at it and that was that. I used the Matatabi chew sticks as enrichment on their Petstages-Grass Patch Hunting Box, and on our tile floors, and area rug. I loved to watch them go and chase and bat at these sticks, which was cute. When the chew sticks were on his Petstages Grass Patch Hunting Box, Pukini and or Kai did try to paw or bat at them, and pick them up with his mouth, which was to adorable.
Just to let you know, according to their website: The chew sticks are vines that are squishy, and don’t splinter like wood. What is nice is there is no additives, and it’s processed in the USA. Also according to their website, nearly 80% react to Silvervine(the plant these vines are from) and that cats have a stronger and longer lasting reaction than to catnip. My feeling though were this: Our cats liked their catnip better, and we get a more reaction to it, but it’s always nice to try other alternatives. Just like catnip, most cats LOVE Matatabi chew sticks, but there is a small percentage of cats who don't react.
