No catnip on these toys, but I threw them on the tile and carpeted floors, and they both ran at them. They bounced, and went Boing on the tile floor and the carpet. The boys batted at the toys, and caught them in their mouths. They bit on the plastic springs, and no broken toys so far. Their paws grabbed onto the springs and they enjoyed every moment.
