Butterfly Flutter By!

Awoof brand is quite the deal with an eleven piece set of toys including: Three colorful crinkle like butterflies of colors: Orange, green, and blue, two mouse toys, two bell balls, two spring net toys, cat wand, and an retractable cat wand and more for fourteen dollars. This is a nice variety pack, your cat(s) will enjoy. So far of all of the toys, right away because I love butterfly toys, we are putting that on the blog, and for Instagram, and Facebook. Pukini and I checked out the package of cat toys, but when talking about the butterflies, they are about 4 inches, and nice and pretty and attractive colors. When you shake these crinkle like butterfly toys, the bell makes this cute sound to attract your cat(s) to the toy. The crinkle sound of the butterfly, and smell of catnip in the air, is what our cat(s), Kai and Pukini loved when flying it in the air. The colors of the butterflies, and brightness, makes the butterflies come alive.

I took all of the butterflies out of the package, and so far we have played with the green and the blue butterflies, but blue is my favorite color. Haven’t played with the orange colored butterfly yet, but we will soon. Anyway, I took the blue and green butterflies, and hooked them on the retractable wand, and started flying high the butterflies all around the cat(s)heads, up and down and all over the place. I even have been flying the butterflies on wands all over our floors, from one side of the floors and back and forth. I love it when Kai jumps up, and grabs it and than chews or bats at the butterflies on the way down, not wanting to let go. What great exercise for your cat(s) to hide and stalk when you put the butterfly toy, say like under the chairs, or around furniture and more. The cat(s) see that butterly, and gets excited to pounce on it and more.

Chicken Lickin’ Drumstick Toy!

Thanks to Kathy, of CatsLoveEwe, for making this adorable enrichment toy, and we saw this toy on Etsy. We opened up this Christmas toy we bought for our cats, and the cats smelled another new cat toy to play with. After putting the toy on the area rug, I said to the cats, “Can you smell this Chicken Lickin Drumstick Toy Fun?” The cats said there is wool, and some nice smelling catnip stuffed into the toy. After giving them their catnip and smelling their toy, we were off for some chicken drumstick paw lickin’ fun. Kai sniffed and sniffed at it, and afterwards got excited and wild, and started grabbing and pawing at the toy. Next he was ready to grab the chicken drum stick between his legs and not only catch his prey, but kicking up a storm with the back of his legs, so this chicken lickin’meal doesn’t get away from him. Gooo Gooo Kai, kick kick kick, at this paw licking toy and never let it go. We really liked this unique toy, and Kai loved to rub and rub at it with his nose. After some playing, he would rest his chin on this pillow we gave them. Too cute!

With new toys, you never know how your cat(s) are going to react to each toy you buy, so we took a chance with a toy, that’s not on a wand. Kai will play with most of the toys we buy him, but Pukini likes most of his toys, especially with wands, with say a bee, mouse, rat, and more attached. But, when we looked at the this Chicken Lickin Drumstick Toy, unfortunately Pukini just sniffed at it, but Kai really liked it. This handmade toy actually looks like a real chicken drumstick, with the brown colors of a chicken, and online it says, it’s lighter than a newborn kitten, but heavier than some toys. One per order, and is hand knit, felted wool, like a real chicken leg. No acrylic or plastics, and packed full of catnip valerian, and or fleece. It is environmentally safe, and is approximately five inches long. It is twelve dollars, and not bad for a unique, and durable toy. If you want something that’s fun, go get your cats some pawing, licking and kicking fun toy to exercise too. It’s a nice toy to release their anxiety and be mentally stimulated. Catch The Dragonfly If You Can!

Ready for another toy to blog about, this is called, Dragonfly Cat Toy 3 Pk-by LitterboyCatToys Pets. We bought other toys from Etsy before, and they really have some unique toys. This arrived before Christmas of 2023, and over the holidays we couldn’t wait to have some fun, celebrating Kai and Pukini’s toys. This looked like a cute, and creative toy we have never played with before, and they looked so real like actual dragonflies. This beautiful three pack of dragonflies are so bright and colorful. What’s a bigger bang for your buck, than to have a pack of toys, not just one. It costs almost fourteen dollars for three of them, and you can’t beat that deal.

These are individually handmade toys, and so creative I would say. and what cat(s) don’t like chasing bugs? As usual our cats were sniffing the little bag they came in, and were pawing at them before I could put them on the hook. I just put them on anyone of our wands, and hooked it on, and started flying it all around the house, up high in the air, or flying it up high on one of our living room chairs, and up near the cat tree. Our cats, Kai and Pukini, couldn’t wait to grab at these pesky, no good dragonflies and try to chomp down, and not let go. According to online: Each dragonfly body is approximately 3-1/2 inches long, and wingspan at 3-1/2 inches. These dragonflies were not to small but not to large. I loved just twirling it around and over their heads to get them to bat or swat at it, but I realized this is a teaser toy, not a chew toy. I loved having the dragonfly toy fly all over the place, and than Pukini would dash in the plaid tunnel bed to stalk and attack it, and I would flutter this bug toy on top, and go around and near the entryways, waiting for anticipation to take a grab at it, with Pukini’s short legs and cute paws. He would grab at it, and not want to let go. We have never had a toy like this, and it was a blast to play with.
